Choosing and Teaching an English GCSE Exam Board

Parents are invited to this FREE workshop which aims to look at differences between exam boards  so parents and young people can choose the board that suits their needs.

We will explore 2 exam boards and look at their different components.

You will also be provided with some tips about marking GCSE work using criteria and giving meaningful feedback. The workshop will be accompanied by packs including lesson ideas, simplified mark schemes and past papers. The session aims to build confidence.

Home educators are free to educate however they want to, and have no obligation to assess work formally, teach in a specific way or even enter for exams. We offer training to those who wish to receive it.
